The Vitamin D Plus test measures both your circulating vitamin D (25(OH)D) and your Vitamin D Metabolite Ratio (VMR) — a more advanced marker that reveals how efficiently your body is metabolising vitamin D. Two people with identical vitamin D levels can have very different VMRs, meaning very different responses to the same supplementation regime. The standard test alone can't tell you this.

How it works

Order your kit (free Australia-wide shipping), collect a small finger-prick sample at home onto the dried blood spot card (takes 2 minutes), drop the reply-paid envelope into any Australia Post box, and read your full report online within 3–5 working days of the lab receiving your sample.

The science

Your sample is analysed by ID LC-MS/MS — Isotope-Dilution Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry with C-3 epimer separation. The gold-standard reference method used by hospital pathology labs, not the cheaper immunoassays most home tests use.

Our method has been clinically validated against the DEQAS-certified serum reference method: 96.9% sensitivity, 97.2% specificity, R² 0.97 correlation between finger-prick and venous draw.
